Moments That Blink Back

What are the “how to’s” of living well? What sparks our spirituality?
What triggers joyful purpose? These are the questions this book explores.

Each writing in this “mind, body, spirit” collection considers a sacredness that is just beneath the ordinary, the routine and the habit as some of the titles suggest: “aliveness waits,” “stepping out of thought,” “climbing the liquid mountains of a night sky” and “lightly child, lightly.” These “see-through” moments in our routine days allow a healing awareness that offers wisdom, makes love and creates a reality that points beyond our surface selves.
What this book also does is expand us beyond the dialogue and self-talk that trips us up. Yet, we can change the script and see ourselves differently. We have choice. Thus, the human story out of which this book is written illumines a larger story, a sacred one if we allow ourselves to go there and relive it.

When we listen, life is speaking constantly, profoundly and intelligently in its every detail. Becoming aware, feeling beyond  life's everydayness develops a new set of lens transforming routine and habits into joy-filled meaning. These are the moments that wink at us, beckon us to open our hearts -- and dare us to respond in kind. These are the moments this book is about.

More From Readers ~
I have just spent the last hour filled with delight and inspiration as I read your writings. Wow! Wonderful! Thank you for sharing your work/heart/spirit. It is, as always, a call to the deeper story. ~ JM

Fabulous! Just lovely – no words come to me to describe the beauty behind the writings except that the soul found its ways to the surface of your being and was expressed for all of us who read, then to participate in.... Thank you. - JJ

I like the way you challenge me to think deeper and look beyond the surface. Your stories have confirmed what I have felt for many years: we do live in a multidimensional universe; there is more beyond what we "see" and the universe does respond in many ways when you are open to it.   ~ FP

I want you to know when I put something out to the universe and wait for an answer -- it often comes from you and your writings.  ~MG
